CBD seeds for a milder high.
Want a milder, more balanced high? These cannabis seeds are described as medium or high in CBD, with low or average THC. CBD and THC together feel different from THC alone. We don't make health claims; we show what breeders state.

Filters we used, and why
- CBD medium or high: 1% or more as stated. A seed with no stated CBD isn't shown. CBD.
- THC low or average: under 25%. Our THC brackets.
THC and CBD, side by side
Cannabis makes many compounds. Two matter most for how it feels.
- THC is what makes you high.
- CBD doesn't make you high on its own. Many people find that CBD alongside THC makes the high feel milder and more even.
This page shows seeds stated with medium or high CBD and low or average THC: a balanced plant rather than a strong one. We don't make health claims, and we don't repeat them; we show what breeders state.
Our brackets
| Bracket | THC | CBD |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Under 15% | Under 1% |
| Medium or average | 15 to 25% | 1 to 5% |
| High | 25% or more | 5% or more |
Most cannabis has very little CBD, so even medium CBD is a deliberate choice by the breeder. THC and CBD.
Why CBD is handled differently
For THC, yield and height, a seed with no stated figure sits in the middle bracket. For CBD we don't do that: a seed with no stated CBD has no CBD bracket and isn't shown here. Guessing "medium" would put plenty of low-CBD seeds on this page. And when a single shop claims high CBD and nobody else does, it shows as not confirmed rather than as a bracket. Who says what.
Ratios on a seed sheet
Breeders often describe CBD seeds by a ratio of CBD to THC.
| Ratio (CBD:THC) | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| 1:1 | About as much CBD as THC: a clearly milder high |
| 2:1 or more | More CBD than THC: little high |
| 20:1 or more | Very little THC: hardly any high |
For the mildest plants, show only high CBD and low THC.
Growing CBD seeds
CBD plants grow like any other cannabis. You choose them the same way:
- Feminized or regular: feminized if you want every plant to flower. Feminized or regular.
- Autoflower or photoperiod: for your space and season. Autoflower or photoperiod.
- Height and flowering time: for your tent or your summer. Grow specs.
Will my plant match the ratio?
Plants from one pack can differ. One may lean more to THC, another more to CBD. The stated ratio is the breeder's aim. Only a lab test tells you what your own harvest holds.
Who grows CBD seeds
- Growers who want a milder high they can enjoy during the day.
- Growers who are sensitive to THC and find a strong high uncomfortable.
- Growers who like the taste and the ritual of their own harvest more than its strength.
- Growers in places with a THC limit for home-grown cannabis, who need to check the local rules before choosing.
Compare prices
CBD seeds are a smaller part of the market, so prices between shops can differ a lot. Compare the price per seed in the pack you want. Price per seed.
Make it yours
- High CBD and low THC only: the mildest.
- High CBD, any THC.
Good to know
Average THC also holds seeds with no stated THC. A lone shop's "high CBD" isn't enough for us; it shows as not confirmed. Who says what.
