Fast autoflowering seeds.

Want to harvest sooner? These feminized autoflowers are ready in under 70 days from seed to harvest, as the breeder or a shop states it. Indoors that means a quick turnaround; outdoors you can fit two or three runs into one summer.

Filters we used, and why

  • Feminized: every seed grows into a female plant, the one that flowers, so you don't need to spot and remove males. Feminized or regular.
  • Autoflower: it flowers by age, not by daylight, so you never change the light schedule. Most stay compact. Autoflower or photoperiod.
  • Flowering time short: under 70 days from seed to harvest. For autoflowers, breeders count from seed, so we do too. How to read it on a seed sheet.

How fast is fast?

For an autoflower, breeders count from seed to harvest, so we do too. Our brackets for autoflowers:

Bracket Seed to harvest
Short Under 70 days
Average 70 to 84 days
Long 84 days or more

This page shows feminized autoflowers stated as short: under 10 weeks from the day the seed sprouts. A seed with no stated time sits in the average bracket, so it isn't shown here even if it might be quick. How to read it on a seed sheet.

Who wants a fast autoflower

Outdoors in a short summer

Plant after the last frost and harvest in high summer, long before the autumn rain. In a mild climate you can fit two or even three runs between May and September.

Indoors with limited time

A shorter grow means less electricity per harvest and a tent that's free again sooner. Some growers start a new plant every few weeks for a steady supply.

On a balcony or terrace

A short life means less time for neighbours to notice and less time exposed to wind and pests.

What you trade for speed

A fast autoflower has less time to grow, so it usually stays smaller and yields less per plant than a slower one. Growers make up for it with more plants or more runs.

Fast autoflower Average autoflower
Seed to harvest Under 70 days 70 to 84 days
Plant size Mostly compact Compact to average
Harvest per plant Smaller Larger
Runs per outdoor summer Two or three One or two

If you'd rather have both, combine fast with high yield and compare what's left.

Getting the most from a short life

A fast autoflower has very little time to recover from a setback. These choices help:

  1. Plant in the final pot. A transplant costs days the plant doesn't have.
  2. Go easy early. Little feeding in the first weeks; seedlings burn easily.
  3. Keep it warm and bright. Cold nights and low light slow growth that can't be made up later.
  4. Choose easy seeds for a first grow: add the easy filter.

Compare prices

The same fast autoflower can cost very different amounts at different shops, and per seed it's often cheaper in a larger pack. Small and large packs show by default. Price per seed.

Good to know

Breeders describe their best results. Your light, feeding, weather and harvest decide what you actually get, so read every figure as a direction.

Filters like high, short, small and easy only show seeds where a breeder or shop states that figure. A seed with no figure sits in the middle bracket, so it isn't shown here even if it would fit. No figure? The middle bracket.
