Feminized autoflowering seeds.
Feminized autoflowers are the simplest way to grow your own. Every seed grows into a flowering female plant, and it flowers by age, so you never change the light schedule. Most are ready about ten to twelve weeks after the seed sprouts. Compare today's prices per seed below.

Filters we used, and why
- Feminized: every seed grows into a female plant, the one that flowers, so you don't need to spot and remove males. Feminized or regular.
- Autoflower: it flowers by age, not by daylight, so you never change the light schedule. Most stay compact. Autoflower or photoperiod.
The simplest way to grow your own
Feminized autoflowers combine two choices that each make growing easier. Feminized means nearly every seed grows into a female plant, the one that makes buds. Autoflowering means the plant starts flowering by age, so you don't change the light schedule. Together they take two of the trickiest steps out of a grow.
What each choice takes off your list
| Step | With feminized autoflowers |
|---|---|
| Spotting and removing male plants | Not needed |
| Switching the light to 12 hours | Not needed |
| Waiting for autumn outdoors | Not needed |
| Time from seed to harvest | About 8 to 12 weeks |
| Plant size | Mostly compact |
Where they fit
- A small grow tent: a compact plant that finishes fast. See easy seeds for a small tent.
- A balcony or terrace: plant in late spring and harvest in summer.
- A short or wet summer: an autoflower is done before the autumn rain. Look at fast autoflowers.
- A continuous harvest: start a new seed every few weeks for a steady supply.
How to choose between them
Most feminized autoflowers look alike on paper, so narrow the list by what matters for your grow.
- Difficulty: marked easy if this is your first grow.
- Height: small if your tent or balcony has little headroom.
- Flowering time: short if you want the fastest harvest or several outdoor runs.
- Yield and THC: treat them as the breeder's best case. See grow specs and THC.
- Price per seed: the same seeds can cost very different amounts at different shops. See price per seed.
A note on yield
An autoflower lives for a few months, so it gives a smaller harvest per plant than a photoperiod that grows all summer. Growers make up for it with more plants or more runs. If yield matters most, compare high-yield autoflowers.
A note on stress
Because the clock is fixed, an autoflower has little time to recover from a setback. Plant it in its final pot if you can, go easy on feeding early on, and keep it warm. Seeds marked easy forgive more.
Reading the specs
For autoflowers, breeders count flowering time from seed to harvest. On buxbeans, short is under 70 days from seed, long is 84 days or more. Every spec is a bracket, not an exact figure, because your light, pot and care decide the real number. How to read it on a seed sheet.
Make it yours
- Easy ones for a small tent: marked easy and staying small.
- Fast ones: a short seed-to-harvest time.
- Ones that yield a lot.
